HSB Historic Superbikes
The proposal to create an Historic Superbikes series is based on a desire to celebrate the early days of the creation of Superbikes racing in Australia, to show modern spectators the source of the modern Superbikes machines and to showcase replicas of the early machines.
The overall plan is to have HSB Historic Superbikes overlay the existing Period 5 Historic Motorcycle racing within Australia today. Any HSB Historic Superbikes will be able to race in any Period 5 solo historic race, but not every P5 solo will be able to race in a HSB Superbikes race, because to rules for eligibility are much tighter to ensure what we see is close to what we saw in the past.
The concept involves having the HSB Historic Superbikes register to be part of the concept, enter existing race meetings and any points scored will be managed by the HSB Historic Superbikes team.
Any body is invited to become part of what will be an exciting part of Historic Motorcycle racing.
